Learning through play
Every day includes plenty of free-choice play. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which covers seven areas of learning:
- Personal, social and emotional development
- Physical development
- Communication and language
- Literacy
- Mathematics
- Understanding the world
- Expressive arts and design
Our observations, planning and reviews track each child's progress towards the early learning goals at the end of reception.

Starting with us
- Show around. Before you register, our manager shows you around and talks you through our setting, routines and resources.
- Free stay and play. Your child joins us for a free session before they start, ideally soon after your show around. It helps settle any worries, and lets us get to know your child and any support they may need.
- Settling in. We'll agree a settling-in plan with you at your show around.
